Spili

Spili, a picturesque village in the heart of Crete, is a real insider tip for travellers who want to experience traditional Cretan culture and the natural beauty of the island. The famous lion fountain

One of the most famous landmarks of Spili is the Venetian Lion Fountain (Kefalovrissi). This impressive fountain consists of 19 lion heads with crystal clear spring water gushing from their mouths.
